FITMI is dedicated to serving as a strategic platform for the innovation, technology, and manufacturing sectors, acting as a bridge among Mainland China, Hong Kong, and the international community, as well as between industry, academia, and research institutions, to foster collaboration and connectivity.

We actively advocate for a fair and enabling business environment, promoting policies conducive to industry development. At the same time, we support our members in enhancing technological capabilities, strengthening management practices, and advancing environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient production.

Internationally, the Association organizes overseas study missions and business matching initiatives, enabling members to access advanced technologies, expand global networks, and explore emerging markets with growth potential.

We are committed to supporting research and innovation by promoting advanced fields such as nanotechnology, composite materials, laser technology, and automation, and by facilitating knowledge exchange through international conferences and collaborations.

The Association places strong emphasis on industry succession and talent development. Through the “Hong Kong Innovative Technology Achievement Award” and related accolades, we recognize excellence in innovation and manufacturing, while encouraging the next generation to drive continuous advancement and global competitiveness.

Since 2018, the “Asia International Innovative Invention Award” has been presented in the form of a public exhibition to recognize outstanding achievements in innovation, particularly among academia, research institutions, R&D centers, and startups.

By promoting collaboration among government, industry, business, academia, and research sectors, the Association strives to enhance the overall competitiveness of innovation and advanced manufacturing.
